I made a trip to the Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead, FL. It was a bit of a disappointment, especially because we had to pay. I was imagining a huge tropical garden filled with palm trees and tropical plants with huge leaves. There were banana trees and a couple other interesting trees. Some type of festival going on and they had a sloth. It bit the handler and blood started gushing out of her arm.
Here’s my reaction to the park.
Later in the night we made a trip to a carnival. They had 3 Colombian performers doing a tight rope routine and the Globe of Death. The girl almost fell off the tight rope with no security net. Below a guy in a motorcycle drives around a girl in the Globe of Death (Globa de la Muerte)
