I took a canoe trip from Card Sound road to Short Key. We braved the rough waters and about 2 hours later landed on Short Key. Remnants of previous parties showed over the island. We shared the beach that night with about 30 high school girls from a local school. I sprayed half a can of bug spray from head to toe and still suffered hundreds of bites. Overall a good trip. We canoed back and ate lunch at Alabama Jacks.
