I took a canoe trip into the Everglades yesterday. There was this deadbeat pelican following us around, looking for a handout. I think it was hovering for about an hour.
It’s amazing how the trees reflect off the water. We took a narrow path through mangroves to Coot Bay Pond. We took a wrong turn and made it all the way to the Flamingo Visitor Center
