Yes, Michigan does have skiing. There was even a movie, “Aspen Extreme” where these guys were saying that they were the best skiers at the Brighton Slopes (it’s snow on top of a garbage dump. The better skiing in is northern Michigan. It’s ok, but just doesn’t last very long. It’s fun for a day or two.
We ate at the Sleep Bear Lounge near Traverse City. It had an old lodge feel. Strangely I mentioned I wanted bbq ribs, Pat wanted smelt, and Bryce wanted perch, and it was all on the menu. I think I was most surprised by the smelt.
