The Pacific Northwest is beautiful.
This is from the Washington coast near Olympic National Park. The beach was magical with a mist in the air, and it didn’t rain. People were camping on the beach drinking cheap beer.

Drift wood lined the coast, it was brought in by the tide. A 15 minute walk through the woods leads to this amazing beach.
Small mounds of earth rise up in the ocean. It’s possible to climb them, but make sure to get down before the tide rises.
This is me inside a huge, hollow tree in North Cascades. It was a bit of a squeeze, but definitely worth it to say that I’ve been inside a tree.
Rapids crashing against the rocks in the Pacific Northwest.
A small farm in the countryside of Washington. A drive west from Seattle quickly turns rural with great views of the mountains.
My friend Dave visited in April. A few minutes after this picture was taken we saw a bear and got the aitch outta there. The river is relatively dry and lined with rocks.
The top of Mt Rainier rises above the clouds. Much of the time the summit is covered by clouds.
Because it rains so often, the grass is green and the air is mountain fresh.

Hi there - lovely photos. I’m planning a trip there. What specific area/beach are the first 3 photos from? It’s a big coast! Thanks for your help.
Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows exactly where the first picture was taken. I went to the Oregon Coast last weekend and it was amazing, but I live near Seattle, WA and don’t want to drive so far to walk in the sand and take some beautiful pictures. Email me at sirigillespie@hotmail.com if anyone knows. Thanks much!
