We drove from Las Vegas to San Diego. It’s probably the best American city I’ve been to, but a bit too superficial. I stayed a few nights downtown at the USA Hostel in December and then headed to the beach. Downtown had dressed up businessmen but the beach showed San Diego’s laid back surfer culture. I saw a group of drunken people paying a homeless man to do pushups (he couldn’t do any) and we went to a nice bar on the beach at Oceanside.
This seagull is very impressive!
