Krakow’s old town is amazing. The medieval city survived WWII and is the heart of Krakow. In the summer outdoor restaurants open and people watching is optimal. Fortunately I lived just minutes away so I could easily walk to the city center. In Europe it’s ideal to live in the heart of the city, whereas in America many people opt for the suburbs.
