I took a flight from Warsaw to Venice. However, the flight was so late that the airport had closed and we were rerouted to Trieste. I then took a bus into Venice. Venice was very interesting, very touristy, but overall, a nice place to visit. Canals dominate the city and it was fascinating to take a water taxi.
My pizza had the french fries. It was a big disappointment. It is the epitome of American fast food but didn’t taste good. When I travel I usually go off the beaten path to eat. We took a water taxi do a remote location and then found this small Italian restaurant. Fortunately the wine was cheap.
Gondola rides in Venice. I didn’t do it, but it seemed exciting.
