I play a lot of ping pong. We just got new paddles and that has totally upped our skill level. On a side note real estate is really expensive in Seattle. For example, for the house I’m renting the landlord is losing money every month. Here’s what payments are for a half million dollar mortgage at 30 years.

It was freezing and nobody seemed to mind. I never used to complain about the weather until I skipped the past 2 winters.

Also, looking at flights from Seattle to Detroit. It’s way faster to fly directly into Muskegon though.

My flight stopped in Bogota, Colombia. I think I was searched 4 times after I got out of the plane and another time before boarding again. I wanted to take pictures of the soldiers working there, but I didn’t want to get probed. When I got to Miami everybody was speaking to me in Spanish including the Americans. I then drove all the way to Seattle. I stopped in Oklahoma, so now I’ve visited the 48 continental states.

The beaches in the Florida panhandle are amazing, but it’s filled with private property signs and giant condos that block the views of the beaches.

I had never seen sand so white.

Panama City Beach at sunset. Giant condos line the coast so it’s difficult to see the beach when walking down the street.

Here’s the start to a tornado in Kansas.

My friend Nora driving as the sun sets over Oklahoma. Look at the concentration on her face. We wore adult diapers so we wouldn’t have to stop. Not really.

Beautiful landscape of Utah. Looks like a painting

When I finally arrive to Seattle. I like to blend into couches.

It seemed ok. The main street was nice, but the other streets looked like this. I went there with the hostel owner, a border control guy, and two British dudes. We mostly went around doing their errands, but it was interesting.

This guy was in front of a Chinese restaurant. It probably wouldn’t go over so well in other countries.
